OpenStudy (pink.1d):

Is √ 1-cos^2 Θ = -sin Θ true? If so, in which quadrants does angle Θ terminate?

OpenStudy (pink.1d):

The choices are False True; quadrants I & IV True; quadrants II & III True; quadrants III & IV

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is true because sine^ theta = 1 - cos ^2 theta so in ur eq put sin^2 theta in left hand side so u will get the answer of +/_ sin theta so i am guessing 1

OpenStudy (pink.1d):

the answer is True; quadrants III & IV
