What are autotrophs and what are heterotrophs?

Troph means eating or feeding and auto means self and hetero means other. So Autotrophs are self feeding and heterotrophs are not. That makes autotrophs photosynthetic (mostly plants) and heterotrophs eat plants and each other (mostly animals and fungi).
