A direct object will follow a transitive verb; a type of action verb. Direct objects can be nouns, pronouns, phrases, or clauses. Just remember this simple formula:

Subject + Verb + what? or who? = Direct Object.

In your post, you do not have a subject, or who it is talking about. So, there is no way that we can be a direct object.

It will be a We;Subject.
