In triangle ABC, a = 3, b = 5, and c = 7. Find the approximate value of angle A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@triciaal can you help me please

OpenStudy (triciaal):

sketch the triangle in the "draw" and label

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 142 is that right? btw there is no drawing that comes with it :( @triciaal

OpenStudy (triciaal):

the largest angle is always opposite the longest side. use the cosine rule to find the largest angle c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab Cos C then we can use the sin rule to find the other angles

OpenStudy (triciaal):

I don't know I have been typing out the process so we can do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry. /:

OpenStudy (triciaal):

use the "draw" below

OpenStudy (triciaal):

labels? then use the cosine formula
