How do i do the greater and less than signs with the underline? < or > with _
are you trying to write "less than or equal to" and "greater than or equal to"?
@EclipsedStar @markchernioglo @MTALHAHASSAN2 @
yes but theres an underline user it
e.g. \[x\le3\]\[x\ge3\]
yes
how do i solve a question like that
in latex use: \le to less than or equal to \ge for greater than or equal to
It is best to ask an actual question and show some of your work so that we can better help spot where you may need more help
the question is: you must be 12 years of age to order from the kids menu. which inequality represents the situation. let a represent the persons age
a<12 a<_12 a>12 a>_12 @asnaseer
If it said "you must be 12 years of age..." then it would be \(a=12\) If it said "you must be 12 years of age or less..." then it would be \(a\le12\) If it said "you must be less than 12 years of age..." then it would be \(a<12\) If it said "you must at least 12 years of age..." then it would be \(a\ge12\) If it said "you must be more than 12 years of age..." then it would be \(a\gt12\)
oh it says u must be under 12
so which one do you think is the right answer?
a<12?
correct! :)
yay!! thank you!!
