Oh, I see what you mean. :)

The problem is there are too many people in the chats. And if it displays everyone typing it would take up a lot of space and the chats are small as it is.

Yeah...I don't really see the point of it. If it had an educational purpose then it could be good, but it doesn't...and also as Pooja mentioned there will be too many people typing at once.
