Mitosis - What is the structural difference between plant and animal cells during telophase?
Don't know what your choices are, but cytokinesis usually starts during telophase and the process is different between plant vs. animals cells. Plants start forming a cell wall to differentiate the two new cells. Vessicles with cell wall material migrate to the center of the parent cell and the cell wall grows separating the two daughter cells. In animals, elements of the microskeleton sort of pinch the parent cell into two new daughter cells. They form a ring around the middle of the parent cell just under the membrane and then constrict, kind of like the drawstring on a pair of sweatpants.
during telophase ...there is only 1 difference.....in plant cell a cell plate forms to separate the cells...but in animal cell there is a formation of cleavage furrow to separate the cells....
