Africa and AIDS questions. WILL FAN & MEDAL
Okay so i have a few questions, because I have a report to do I'm just not very good with writing out what i'm thinking. Africa and AIDS/HIV 1.) How does this issue affect the well-being of the people that live within the region? 2.) How have leaders of the nation/region responded to the issue? What are the advantages and disadvantages of their actions? 3.) How have individual citizens of the region responded to the issue? How have organizations or activists responded to the issue? 4.) How does this issue affect other nations of the world? What roles has the international community played in this issue?
for the first one what do u think the answer is
i cant do all the work for u
Okay I am really truly terrible of thinking up a way to write things but.. Paying for treatment may be difficult for some families or communities. It can cause infertility. Social insecurity
Well for starters, AIDS is a very serious and fatal disease. It affects every body system by destroying a defense cell called CD4 helper lymphocyte. These lymphocytes are part of the body's immune system, the defense system that fights infections. When HIV destroys these lymphocytes, the immune system becomes weak and people can get serious infections that they normally wouldn't. So that being said, what do you think the answer to question one is?
Umm, death rates are higher and employment rates would be lower due to illness.
Sorry I wasn't finished it just posted
Death rates would most definitely be higher, and a small decrease in unemployment as well (not enough to be notable in a research paper however). The second question I do not have the answer for offhand, but I can point you to a website that can help you out: http://www.unaids.org/en/resources/presscentre/pressreleaseandstatementarchive/2013/may/20130526prawasharedresponsiblity
Thank you! I appreciate your help.
