Lynn asked six friends how many cars their parents own. She recorded 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, and 4 cars. What is the mean absolute deviation of the number of cars? Round to the nearest tenth, if needed. A. 0.7 cars B. 1.1 cars C. 1.4 cars D. 2 cars

what do you think it is ?

what absolute deviation means? :)

IDK

In my opinion think it's D because mean means add all the numbers together which is 12 and divide by how many numbers where given so 12 divided by 6 is 2 ^_^ Someone please correct if im wrong.

OpenStudy (sparrow2):

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

I used my calculator and I got 0.6 making the answer A if we round to the nearest tenth like the question is asking us

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay I will put it in and tell you what the answer is k

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
