OpenStudy (perl):

I had an idea, OpenStudy should add a disclaimer regarding the chats, in the code of conduct or terms of condition. Disclaimer: The views and opinions expressed in the chats are solely those of the authors and do not represent the views of OpenStudy as a whole. Maybe I'm being too legalistic here, just an idea. Also the same goes for the posts, the views and opinions expressed in posts are those of the authors, etc.

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

its an appropriate idea @perl I agree with every word u said above^^^

OpenStudy (kidrah69):

hmmm :/ i think its all there but people need to take the time to read it....see an example for role play In the Terms, which you agreed to when you first signed up on OpenStudy, it states the following : You agree not to use the Service or the Site to impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself, your age or your affiliation with any person or entity.I suppose when you do role play, you will, at least, misrepresent yourself, which is against the Terms and hence. There are many details in the Terms which are not included in the Code of Conduct, but that does not mean that you need not follow the rules in the Terms. I would say the Code of Conduct is like an abstract of the Terms and you cannot expect everything will be included in an abstract.~Callisto

OpenStudy (perl):

interesting :)

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

I kind of agree, because parents do look at chats and they wouldn't be too happy to see the bad things on chats.

iYuko (iyuko):

And the ads?

iYuko (iyuko):

What about the ads?

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

What do the ads have to do with this? xD

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

The ads are google ads. The ads that pop up are the ones that are based on your search history. It's not affiliated with Inquus.

iYuko (iyuko):

Sorry.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

No, nothing wrong. xD
