You make arrangements for people to buy tickets for a one-day behind-the-scenes park tour. The maximum number of people admitted will be 200. The amount of money brought in as revenue is a function of the number of people admitted. Each person is charged $30 but you have to pay $50 to rent the tour bus. Create a function that shows this relationship and determine the domain and range of this function. Also determine and interpret the meaning of the y-intercept.

You must submit the following to your instructor: The equation in function notation relating revenue to the number of people admitted The domain and range values for this function The y-intercept and its interpretation

For every person coming in, you charge $30. Table of prices: \[\begin{array}{c|c} \text{number of people}&\text{price of tickets}\\ \hline 1&30\\ 2&60\\ 3&90\\ \vdots&\vdots \end{array}\] See a pattern? What's the price for \(x\) people? You have to pay a fixed cost of $50, so whatever the revenue from the tickets, you take away $50.
