Identify a3 of this sequence: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.25, 1.5, … a3 =

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Do the a's start with \(a_{0}\) or \(a_{0}\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a3

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You didn't answer my question. Is 0.25 \(a_{0}\) or \(a_{1}\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh a0

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Okay, so \(a_{0}, a_{1}, a_{2}, a_{3}\)... Looks like you just need to pick out the fourth value and you're done.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 0.75

OpenStudy (welshfella):

no if a0 = 0.25 then a3 = 1

OpenStudy (welshfella):

id 0.25 = a1 then a3 = 0.75

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Thus, my initial question. You may not be accustomed to counting from zero. :-) Watch that index!
