A rectangle has an area of (x^3-x+6) square meters and a width of (x+2) meters. Find its length, in terms of x. A. (x^2-1) B. (x^2+3) C. (x^2-2x+3) D.(x^3-2x-1)

Since rectangle has the area of its width and height multiplied together, divide area by the length. \[\frac{ x^3-x+6 }{ x + 2 }\] I assume you know how to divide polinomial by an another polinomal. So conclusion, you get: \[x^2 - 2x + 3\] which is, the answer is C.
