Okay so i just made an account and i was wondering what are owl bucks and cents and what are they for??

Well, one purpose of owl bucks is to get qualified help from a qualified user.

Cents are all the medals you have earned in openstudy.

SmartCents are earned from medals when you help other users. When they reward you a medal, you automatically get one SmartCent. SmartCents are used to buy titles in subjects. The titles costs range from 50, 500, to 3,000 SmartCents! Save them up and you can buy the titles in your best subjects! :D

As for OwlBucks, you need to buy them with real money. After you have bought them you can use them to get Qualified Help fast! You can also use OwlBucks to buy OpenStudy themed merchandise and to buy Recommendation Letters or Volunteering Certificates. :)

Yes, by asking questions, you can raise your smartscore, but it won't increase immediately, but still do those things to increase your smartscore.
