Directions:
In this unit, you studied human personality. One of the things you had to consider is the role human difference plays in the development of personality. However, you also had to consider the role of similarity in determining and theorizing about personality.
Now, write a 250-word essay in which you argue whether or not you feel it is more important that researchers focus on individual difference or individual similarity in their study of personality development.

Here are some additional guidelines:
1. Be sure to include a thesis statement that clearly expresses the moment you've highlighted as the most significant and why.
2. Be sure to include topic sentences for your paragraphs.
3. Be sure to cite specific theorists and/or theories in your argument.

→ I just don't know exactly what it means by whether researchers focus on individual difference or individual similarity in their study of personality development.
What does that mean? Could someone explain this to me?
