For f(x) = -x -7, find f(-5) How would I solve this?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

just replace the x in -x - 7 by -5 and work it out. f(-5) means 'f(x) when you replace x in f(x) by -5'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

f(-5) = -(-5) - 7 = ?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

remember - * - = +

OpenStudy (welshfella):

-(-5) is the same as -1*-5

Oh okay, thanks!
