NEED HELP!!! WILL FAN + MEDAL!!!!! -4x + 6x^2 + 5x a^2 + 5a - 3a^2 3x^2 + 8x + 7x Find the degree of: -5w^3 - 4w^2 + 7w + 16
Are these 4 questions
Find the degree of each term in each expression. Pick the greatest.
@bleebleebleed @shaylaLuv @dan815 @DarkMoonZ
@MollyhatesMath Yes. @tkhunny I have no idea what you mean
-4x + 6x^2 + 5x Since -4x and 5x are like terms, subtract 5x from -4x to get x x+6x^2 The degree of a polynomial is the highest degree of its terms. so it would be 2 6x^2+x so the degree is the sum of the exponents of the variable so the degree of 6x^2 would be 2 understand???
That was the first one
I think so... I got 9x Is that correct??
1)7x+2 2)-a(2a-5) 3)3x^2+15
i used mathway
I still don't get it -_- Im kinda slow guys. Slow down for the slow person
I thought u had to do them individually -4x + 6x^2 + 5x the degree is 2
4)The polynomial cannot be factored using the grouping method.
So the answer is 7x^3 right ^_^????
yes
YAY!!!! Okay, for the second question that I gave you guys, I got 5a -3a^2 and the question was a^2 + 5a - 3a^2
@sugarplum15
oh sorry i misunderstood I thought you were looking for the degree of the 4 equations. openstudy is slow today
i gave you all the answers
No Im just looking for the degree for the last equation. Im sorry that I wasn't clear enough. Im in a test while im doing this so Im kinda panicing
a^2 + 5a - 3a^2-4x + 6x^2 + 5x -2a^2+5a+x+6x^2
oh
degree:3
no
Yeah lol I think its tho
yes i used mathway
for the last one it is 3 yes
sorry i have a delay very slow today
Okay ill tell you guys the score I get #nervous
uh oh
im scared now -_-
Well I passed by the skin of my teeth
you didnt pass the rest? -_-
I passed with a D. A 60%
oh is that good -__-
