I understand where you are coming from and how easy it is to just fall into that place where darkness seems to feel safe. Where darkness gives you that rush, that literally takes away all energy and life. For we live in a world where all is dark and the only light we see is that of which we as Christians put off. But when we feel as if we are in the darkest place and we feel so broken, that is when our light shines the brightest. I didn't see you as depressed, but broken. You are the greatest friend because you recognize when you are broken, when you are hurt, when you feel depressed.
