OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

@Hero Trig work, can you help?

Nnesha (nnesha):

\[\rm sin \rm \theta = \frac{ opposite }{ hypotenuse }~~~~ \cos \theta = \frac{ adjacent }{ hypotenuse } ~~\tan \theta = \frac{ opposite }{ adjacent }\] use any function cos B sin B or tan B

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

Yea I got that far, but when I get my answer, for example lets use sin. \[\sin \theta=\frac{ 60.1 }{ 66.4 }\]

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

we get \[\sin \theta = 0.90512\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

perfect now take invs sin(arcsin) \[\theta = \sin^{-1} \frac{ 60.1 }{ 66.4 }\]

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

now I take the inverse and i dont get an answer choice. see? http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=theta+%3D+sin%5E-1+60.1%2F66.4

Nnesha (nnesha):

your calculator mode should be rad calculator tricked u :P

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

This is where I get stuck...

Nnesha (nnesha):

http://prntscr.com/7a1cco hit rad first

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

You mean it should be on degree ;P

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

Cause rad still gives me a wrong answer....but degree....muahahahaha

Nnesha (nnesha):

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):
