Lea and Chris were collecting eggs from their hen house. When they finished, Chris had twice as many eggs as Lea. On the way to the house, however, they got to laughing. Chris dropped 6 of his eggs and Lea dropped 2 of hers, and then they had the same number. How many eggs did Lea start with? A. 4 B. 8 C. 6 D. 2

The answer is 4 because if lea started with 4 it means that Chris would've had 8 and 8-6 = 4-2 . They both equal 2. Does that make sense? >.<
