I'm not completely sure on this one. I know that the Communicative property states that when multiplied any numbers will equal the same thing no matter the order in which it is done. 2*4=8 and 4*2=8 So, for this I'm leaning more towards Identity. Because a=b so when you simply the problem your still getting a true statement.
