Which words make up the adverb phrase in this sentence? We built a giant snowman in the backyard yesterday afternoon. A. a giant snowman B. in the backyard C. We built D. yesterday afternoon
Any ideas ?
I forgot what adverbs phrases mean.....
Before we go into details about this question...I have another one to ask @Awolflover1 how did you get your thing to say 'Super Librarian'?
An adverb phrase is just a group of words that together act as an adverb. An adverb is a word that modifies a verb/adjective or other adverb.
A then?
Well you have to have 50 medals in English cx http://prntscr.com/7a4y1d and 50 Smart Cents
No. In A giant is just an adjective. B and D both use words that could be adverbs in the sentence (backyard and yesterday.)
@Awolflover1 how do I tell if I have 50 medals? @NobodysSalvation one of the two then?
I would go with B because it doesn't act as an adjective where D could be.
Go to your profile and look at your medals, and i agree with B
Thanks to both of you.
@Awolflover1 how do I get SmartCents?
You get Smart Cents by Medals ^_^
Oh thanks again!
You're welcome
