OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume of cylinder is V=base x height

OpenStudy (angeleyes108):

but in terms of pi? Don't i have to do something different?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah so leave the area of the circle as pi instead of 3.14

OpenStudy (angeleyes108):

and i have a radius not a base.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

radius is part of the area of the base

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi x r^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the whole equation is pi(1.9)^2(11)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 39.71(pi)

OpenStudy (angeleyes108):

Thank you. I wasn't sure what to do with the pi. This helped a lot :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem
