@tkhunny can you help?
@phi
Why are you tagging people and showing no work at all? That's not how it works.
It is for thought and exploration. The idea is to get things out of YOUR head. You have a full set of instructions. That appears to be sufficient guidance. Do NOT tag people and show no work at all. That is NOT how it works. Show us ANYTHING.
your picture shows one chord drawn in. I think they want you to also draw in the chord on the other radius
How would i do that?
1) Get a piece of paper. 2) Get a compass. 3) Draw a circle. 4) Draw two radii. 5) Draw a smaller circle with the same center as the first circle. 6) Pick up the paper and peer through it so that you can fold the two halves of each chord onto each other. These are the instructions you already have.
What you need to be doing is learning where the VERY FIRST thing to do is SHOW YOUR WORK. This is what will help you the most.
they want you to "make a crease" that forms a chord perpendicular to the radius. But you can use a protractor, and anything that shows a right angle to draw in the chord on the 2nd radius. Can you do that ?
The question: "How do you measure the distance between a point and a line?" is answered with: "drop a perpendicular from the point to the line, and then measure the distance along that perpendicular"

Ok
Here is the idea they want you to find out: the distance from the center to a chord is the same for both chords (not surprising, because you drew it that way) next, measure the length of each chord. You should get the same length for both chords Theory: chords the same distance from the center of the circle are the same length.
Come on. You're making Phi do all the work. YOU show us something. You can do it.
i already drew that so whats next
@phi may you help @adajiamcneal
