PLEASE HELP!!!!! The coordinates below represent two linear equations. How many solutions does this system of equations have? Line 1 x y –3 6 3 4 Line 2 x y –6 7 9 2 A. 0 B. exactly 1 C. exactly 2 D. infinitely many

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Plot the points on a graph. Draw lines through the points of each line. Then you'll be able to tell if the lines are parallel (no solution), the same line (infinite solutions), or they intersect at one point (1 solution). Notice there is no mention here of 2 solutions. A system of two linear equation cannot have exactly 2 solutions.
