The 3rd term is 12. The sum of the first 4 terms is 20. The sum up to the 5th term is 35. The difference of the 3rd and the 5th term is 32

Assuming n is an integer, just plug in 1 for n, then 2 for n, then 3 for n, do that until n=5.
