Write an equation of a line whose graph is parallel to the graph of y = 3x – 10.

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

for 2 lines to be parallel, the slope has to be the same and the y-intercept has to be different. the equation is y=mx+b, where m=slope, and b=y-intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so y=3x+10? would that work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

k thanks
