Fan & Medal ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ can some one give me a description on checks and balances?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey first of all this is not a math question and second of all it's to make sure that none of the branches get more power than another from the government.. Basically that they all get the same amount of power

For example, the Executive Branch can veto bills from the Legislative Branch, but the Legislative Branch can override the veto.

basically, each branch of the government (executive, legislative, and judicial) does not overrule the other. They each keep each other in CHECK, and their amount of power they have is BALANCED. like rock, paper, scissors. Rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, and paper beats rock. like so =D
