@zepdrix @Schen421

zepdrix (zepdrix):

What is that 6 doing there in the first denominator? Was that a typo?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Ah there we go :)

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Lemme break down the first denominator a sec, maybe we can see what's going on.\[\Large\rm 50x^4y^3=25\cdot2 x^1 x^3y^1y^2=\color{orangered}{25xy^2}\cdot2x^3y\]

sorry my computer log me out

zepdrix (zepdrix):

So I broke down the first denominator so that it contains the second denoinator (orange) and a little bit more.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

To get your LCM, you would multiply the second fraction by 2x^3y. That would finish things up for you. So it looks like the LCM is just going to be that whole bottom left side since it contains the right denominator, and more.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it 50x^4y^3

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Mmmm ya sounds good! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks I have more I just need to make other silde

zepdrix (zepdrix):
