Use the Intermediate Value Theorem to show there is a zero in [-3,-2] for the polynomial function f(x)=3x^3-10x+9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find \(f(-3)\) and then find \(f(-2)\) one will be positive, one negative (i have no idea which )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then argue that since \(0\) is between the positive value and the negative value, since the function is continuous it must be zero somewhere in there

hey will you help me with another question?
