Can someone explain what a research proposal is and how you write one? Thank you (:

A research proposal is basically a detailed outline of what your research paper/ presentation is to be about. What I learned is that it includes your topic, background information on your topic (what interested you in it), then there's the essential guiding question which is a question that can't be answered yes or now it can be more than one. then its your sources like a specific book. After that there is your explanation of your investigative slant ( what you're actually researching) then there's the learning stretch which is what you've learned or how it made you a better person ...you don't always have to do that part it just depends on what you;re researching....this is what I learned im just graduated highschool

It also has to have a 2 part title so like one of mine was "25 Years Innocent: Freedom of A Criminal"
