Which of the following is a primary source that could be used to learn about the American Civil War?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think A. A. an encyclopedia's summary of the Civil War B. a biography of General Robert E. Lee C. folktales from battles D. letters from soldiers to their families

I also think A would be the best answer, because folktales from battles may or may not be false, and a biography of General Robert E Lee would be focusing on him, not the war. And letters from soliders to their families would most likely being saying I'm still alive, so, A makes the most sense.

I was thinking the same thing thank you.
