OpenStudy (alekos):

which angle is 76 degrees?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mBC @alekos

OpenStudy (alekos):

which one would that be?

OpenStudy (alekos):

mBC means nothing to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean? lol

OpenStudy (alekos):

mBC is not a valid way of describing an angle on a diagram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok lol, im not sure how to do this. could you show me the steps and how to get the answer?

OpenStudy (alekos):

its too ambiguous

OpenStudy (alekos):

its a bit of trick question. I've just worked out that mBC is the measure of the angle subtended by arc BC. So it's really just a triangle problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you think it is?

OpenStudy (alekos):

If you draw two lines between the centre of the circle, O with B & C then you get a triangle with angle BOC = 76 deg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

BCP is 38 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks^

OpenStudy (alekos):

Problem is you have no idea why it's 38 deg
