Construct a scatterplot and identify the mathematical model that best fits the data. Assume that the model is to be used only for the scope of the given data and consider only linear, quadratic, logarithmic, exponential, and power models. Use a calculator or computer to obtain the regression equation of the model that best fits the data. You may need to fit several models and compare the values of R2.

I tried...
ok, do you have a graphing calculator by any chance? like a TiI-84?
you need a calculator to solve this one
yeah...I've got one
I understand...
The answers I got there are not even close...
so is it C?...I got 0.8513
Ah, sorry, sorry, Just realized that my explanation is completely wrong did your teacher show you how to find the R^2 value?
Maybe she did....but I'm no longer in the class...I just have to do this to pass it.
well, ok, I just plugged this into my calculator, and the third answer gives me the highest R^2 value, so my best guess is the third option
@taekwondochick
@hulkart please look at my last response
Here? Do you mean the R2 thing?
Sorry, im not great with math myself
Haha....at least you tried
