please help ive tried but dont understand this question Marcia can make 5 candles in an hour. Kevin can make only 4 candles in an hour, but he already has 7 completed candles. Explain to Marcia how she can use a system of equations to determine when she will have the same number of candles as Kevin. Use complete sentences.

How much did you understand the question?

It looks like you want to set up a ratio here. So 5/x represents Marcia and the "x" is unknown. Kevin is modeled by 4x+7. Keep in mind, he already had 7 to start with. When you cross multiply to solve, you are left with 16, because the x's cancel out. So they would produce the same amount of candles after 16 days. I hope that helps =)
