first you need to recognise this in the form y = ax^2+bx +c write down the values of a, b & c then you need to evaluate the expression -b/2a that will give you the x ordinate of the vertex. Put that value of x into your original equation to get the value of y at the vertex from those 2 values x and y you can answer the question
