Quick question will medal! :D When you're finding the area of a square and you have to find the side lengths , it has to always be the square root of the area right? For example the area is 300cm^2 the side lengths would be 17.32? or between 17 and 18? or between 16 nd 17 in?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

for a square of area 300 cm^2 the side length = sqrt 300 = 17.32

OpenStudy (exoticinspirit):

so it would be between 17 and 18

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes

OpenStudy (exoticinspirit):

ok thanks :)
