$$y= mx+b$$ 

Slope for GH = y2 -y1/x2-x1 = 6-2 /-2-2 = 4/-4 = -1 

Parallel lines have the same slope so 

the initial equation is 

$$6 = -1(5) +b$$ 

$$6= -5+b$$

$$6+5=b $$

$$11=b $$

equation is: 

$$y= -x +11$$
