then when we are in the search for what is real and true, a random sample allows us to base the results on something other than our own assumptions. how you put this is up to you

if i claim that 98% of my product is safe for kittens, then the sample taken should be random so that a real and factual account can be determined. this is why third party investigations are also required ....
