@Abhisar

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

do you need help for all the parts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

well for part A you are suppose to describe what the box-plots look like...for example you could say that eight grade sends more texts than seventh grade.

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

for part B you are suppose to subtract the 1Q and the 3Q range of each set to find the IQR...so the 1Q and 3Q range for seventh grade is 14 and 22, and the 1Q and 3 Q range for eight grade are 26 and 34...so when you subtract them both you get the IQR.

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

for C you need to find the median for each set and then subtract them from each other to find the difference...the median is the line in the middle of the box plot. so the median for seventh grade is 18 and the median for eight grade is 30, then you subtract 18 from 30 and you get your answer

thanks

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

your welcome :) do you need help with D too or no?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you help me with one more question its a multi choice

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

yea sure :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is the Question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer choice A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer choice B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer choice C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer choice D

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

okay, so first you have to find how many numbers of each number there are, like there are 00,333,2222,11111, and a 5. now you make a table, and when you do all that work that answer is D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!!!

your welcome :)
