which parts do you need help with js7474?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

okay, with part a...to find the mean of all the numbers you need to add up all the numbers and divide them by how many numbers there are ~> 85+85+60+62+59 = 351/5 which equals 70.2 so the mean is 70 because you need to round to the nearest tenth...now finding the median is easy, you just order the numbers from greatest to least so ~> 85, 85, 62, 60, 59...now you strike out the numbers on each side until you get one number left in which this case it would be 62...now the mode is just the number in the set that is most repetitive...so the most repetitive number in the set is 85 so the mode is 85

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

Now with part b you need to apply what you found in part a...she says she doing good in her Spanish class....and her average would be the mean in her class since her mean is 70 which means she is passing but not acing....

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

now with part c you need to explain why you think that her claim of doing well in her Spanish class is wrong....

OpenStudy (only_hanaaa):

I hope this helped :)
