A pharmacy wants to survey its customers to find out which brand of toothpaste they prefer. Which survey methods are likely to be biased? Choose all answers that are correct. A. A survey is sent to the customers who are on the pharmacy’s frequent buyer list. B. One hundred people from the pharmacy’s customer list are selected at random, called on the phone, and asked. C. Those customers who buy toothpaste with a coupon are selected, and the toothpaste brand they purchased is recorded. D. Every 10th customer who enters the pharmacy on 1 day is selected and asked.

@texaschic101
D is unbiased I'm pretty sure that C is biased
It Can Be More Then One
customers with a coupon are unlikely to be a representative sample
^
Because They might have a cupon for a different type of toothpast :P
yes i know i'm not sure about B
yes exactly
Actuly it Might Be B And A
I think A is unbiased
@amistre64
- although a frequent buyer might not buy toothpaste at that pharmacy
True.
Sorry I cant be of any more help.
do you go to ca
A is biased....and I believe C is biased
I think A,B & C for the following reasons: A. People how often come to the store and may be biased because they know what's in the store and are likely to go there because they have a preference for products in the store B. A customer list may be somewhat biased for the same reason as A. Also, not everyone who answers the phone may be the person who purchases for the home and may be biased towards what is actually purchased C. A coupon biases preferences based on value versus true preference D. Unbiased
oh ok
Should i go with A B And C @texaschic101 ?
also i dont know how this deals with math xD
