@LegendarySadist

Well area of a circle is \[A=\pi*r^2\] and the radius is 1/2 of the diameter. So do\[\frac{ 18 }{ 2 }=r\] And then plug the value you find into the area of a circle formula. At this point you will have the area of the total pizza. Just divide the total area by 2 to find how much she ate.

so is the answer 254.47? @LegendarySadist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would be the area of the total pizza. We're looking for the area of half of the pizza. Divide what you have by 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 127.235, is that correct? @LegendarySadist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That looks good to me :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!! @LegendarySadist
