The respiratory system contains which of the following structures and organs? A. blood, blood vessels, heart B. tonsils, thymus, spleen, red bone marrow C. lymph nodes, lymph vessels D. lungs, respiratory passages, diaphragm

OpenStudy (exoticinspirit):

the answer is in one of the answer choices lol anyway what do you think

OpenStudy (exoticinspirit):

Tips for remembering these two systems in the body, the circulatory system i think of it as when nutrients and amino acids go in circles around the body to deliver all of the needed nutrients, for the respiratory system think of it as when you take a deep breath to relax or rest as in respiratory system is for the goal of breathing or to deliver the oxygen to the body and take away carbon dioxide . Best regards. :D

Mehek (mehek14):

@E_Moore_ which one do you think?

Mehek (mehek14):

Remember, respiratory -> respire -> breathe which organs/structures do you use to breathe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*hint*to breath you need your lungs.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And don't let the term "respiration or respiratory" confuse you. Respiration can refer to breathing or to the energy conversions that occur when you process your food and harvest the energy in a form your cells can use. In this case it refers to breathing and exchanging CO2 for O2.
