Americans were angry with France during the presidency of John Adams because __________. its dress designers refused to send the latest styles to the U.S. because of the tariff France had seized American ships, kidnapped American sailors, and insulted America in the XYZ Affair France insulted America in the XYZ Affair its navy was seizing American ships and kidnapping American sailors I'm guessing B but I think that i'm wrong.
