The number of pages that Allen, Kevin, Roneisha, and Ben can read in a day is shown below. Allen read 15% of his 56-page book. Kevin read 12% of his 64-page book. Roneisha read 16% of his 42-page book. Ben read 10% of his 72-page book. Who can read the greatest number of pages in a day? A. Kevin B. Allen C.Roneisha D. Ben PLEASE HELP
Change each percentage to a decimal and multiply by the number of pages. That tells you how many pages each person reads is a day. Then compare the numbers. For example: Allen: 15% = 0.15 0.15 * 56 = 8.4
You can actually figure it out without doing any computation if you know what you're doing.
@Hero How do you do that?
I meant mental computation. Sorry for the confusion.

\[( 0.15* 56, 0.12* 64, 0.16* 42, 0.10 *72 ) \]
\[\{ 8.4, 7.68, 6.72, 7.2\} \]
