OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hi im here okay what do you wabt help with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first sentence is: One day there was a fox walking in the woods

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um I have no idea about asl gloss im sorry im only in 5th grade

geerky42 (geerky42):

Wow I only sign ASL, not familiar with ASL gloss, sorry, but I would "sign" "One day fox walk++ in woods" ++ meaning basically you sign "walk" twice. May not be entirely correct, but I just feel right this way.

geerky42 (geerky42):

Maybe you need to do "fox" twice too. Depends exactly how you sign "fox."

geerky42 (geerky42):

naw I'm no help, sorry lol...

geerky42 (geerky42):

ASL gloss is complicated from what I hear. it's basically tools for ASL interpreter. Good luck though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually that sounds pretty close to correct. Its close enough could you help me with more?

geerky42 (geerky42):

I can try.

geerky42 (geerky42):

what is correct answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh actually now that I look at it that doesn't seem right...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks anyway

geerky42 (geerky42):

ok. Good luck.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wio do you know ASL gloss?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't really know ASL, I was looking at this: http://webpages.csus.edu/~bad51/aslglossingdirections.pdf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well thank you that helps a little :)

geerky42 (geerky42):

Interesting... these glosses at bottom look weird and wrong, probably because I actually sign PSE (Pidgin Signed English) It's mix of American Sign Language (ASL) and Signing English English (SEE), if you don't know. Guess ASL is different from what I expect. Oh well...

geerky42 (geerky42):

Signing Exact English*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya its very different
