the bass population was dramatically rising up until the 90s. farmers pesticides may have attributed to this, by causing algal blooms in lakes, which deplete the lakes of oxygen, and room to grow, which suffocates everything
or maybe they experienced a population growth, and over fishing causes the decrease in bass
