is the pattern of points formed by the graph of the geometric sequence linear? If not, how would you describe it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The pattern formed by the graph of an ARITHMETIC sequence is LINEAR. An example of this would be a sequence formed by adding 2 repeatedly. (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, ..., 2n) The pattern formed by the graph of a GEOMETRIC sequence is EXPONENTIAL. An example of this would be a sequence formed by multiplying by 2 repeatedly. (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, ..., 2^(n-1))
