Need some ideas guys, not answers. Do not know where to even begin my research. Thanks!
The local issue that I chose was the issue where in the swamps of Florida, residents are torn between the necessity of development to meet the needs of a growing population and protecting the fragile Everglades ecosystem.
Who are the stakeholders? Are there any government regulators (local, state, or national) that have jurisdiction over this issue? What laws, policies, and regulations would help decide this issue or are needed to help solve this issue? Are there any past actions from the relevant government regulators that would pertain to this issue? What are the costs (ecological, economic, and societal) of the proposed project? How are decisions such as these made in your community? Is there an appeals process? If so, what is it?
Well, you can use a US government page, or possibly google for a few. You can also read up a bit on your government for your city?
i tried the gov page, but everything does not concern these specific questions, u think i should try something local, some local source?
Well, for some of your local things yes. Like, where it asks about decisions made in your community you would need something local.
ok cool thanks! Cant believe i never considered local!
No problem!
